Every year, the German agricultural magazine Agrarheute honors exceptional agricultural projects in Germany, Austria and Switzerland with the prestigious Ceres Award.
Among the nominees this year are our partner Simon van der Veer and Christian Hurni with their sweet potato label "Batati". Congratulations!
Since 2019, Batati has been working very closely with Root & Branch in the production of their domestic sweet potato. Our energetic GreenTEAM supports Batati between May and November with 5 to 20 people in the mechanical planting of the seedlings in Bern, Solothurn and Fribourg, weeding and harvesting by hand.
